We hope you are as excited as we are about the opportunity for your family to help SHRED DOG design its first line of premium outdoor apparel for kids. The start of that 2-stage process is now here so we want to share a few details so you know what to expect.

The Basics of How it Will Work:

The What: Our first line that your family can help design includes boys and girls winter/ski jackets, snow/ski pants, a long-sleeve baselayer, socks, and a neck gaitor.

The When: October 25th - 29th. We had to keep this project short so we could maintain our development timeline.

The How: Everyone that was registered on our website before October 25th was sent an email containing a link to the project. If you were not on that list, it is not too late. Register at the bottom of the page and we will send you the link.

The survey will include conceptual line drawings and related questions to help finalize our design direction. To keep the project completion time to 15-20 minutes, we will highlight decisions we've already made and ask for your input on others. We encourage everyone to include their kids and make it a family project!

Sound like fun?  We hope so!

A Few More Details if You Want to Know More

Just so there is no confusion, please be aware that we are not producing custom, made-to-order garments. All of the feedback will be analyzed and we will move forward with the most popular design elements.

This co-design process with your family will take place in two stages. Stage 1 is primarily about styles and helping us fine-tune the right level of performance and price. In November, we will do a second project that will cover specific feature details as well as colors and patterns (what your kids might call "the fun part").

Finally, looking further out, this design process in October and November will enable us to create, test, and refine prototypes over this coming winter/ski season as we prepare for production. Our goal is to be taking pre-orders next spring for shipment next fall. More to come on all of that!
